Choosing the e-mail template to use

By default, the creation of a payment link uses the default e-mail template for the selected language.

In order to choose the template to be used:
  • toggle the switch to the left, if you do not want to use an e-mail template,

You then must enter the subject and the body of the message. For more information, see the Customizing the content of the payment link chapter.

  • toggle the switch to the right to use a template, then select the template to be used from the drop-down list.

You can create e-mail templates in every language available on the payment page. The number of templates is unlimited.

Once a template is created, you can select it when creating a payment link and set it as the default template.

To create a new template:

  1. Sign in to the Expert Back Office:
    https://secure.lyra.com/portal/
  2. Click Other actions at the bottom of the menu to access your Expert Back Office.

Other actions appears only if your user account has the "Access to the expert back office” permission.

Reach out to your company’s back office administrator to obtain this permission.

  3. Go to Management > Payment orders or TEST payment orders according to your needs.
  4. Click on the action bar located to the right of the Create a link button.
  5. Click Templates.

The e-mail template manager is displayed. It allows you to create, duplicate and delete templates.

  6. Click on at the bottom of the screen to add a new template. A default template is loaded in the language of the shop.
  7. Choose the language of the content and:
    • Edit the name of the new template,
    • Edit the subject and the text of the e-mail.

You can use the available variables (see chapter Customizing the content of the payment link).

    • Check the “Default template” box, if you wish.
  8. Click on Save.

Once the template has been created, you can select it upon creating a payment link.
