Limitations
- Compatibility with Apple Pay button display
Apple Pay can only be used in Safari on an Apple device.
If a buyer wants to pay using a MacBook device, for example, by launching the Chrome browser, the Apple Pay button will not be offered because it is not compatible.
For more information on devices that support Apple Pay, see the Apple documentation on compatibility.
- Inability to override the Apple Pay button on the merchant site
It is not possible to override the Apple Pay button on the merchant site in case of integration within a form with redirect. You will need to redirect the buyer to the payment page.
When creating the payment form, you should either not force the vads_payment_cards field by leaving it empty, or set it to APPLE_PAY with at least another payment method from the CB network if you wish to offer Apple Pay on the payment page.
Example: <input type="hidden" name="vads_payment_cards" value="VISA;APPLE_PAY" />
