Customizing the title of the payment method

Shopify allows you to customize up to 5 payment methods.

The list of customized methods is available in the Shopify Payment Method Customizations section.

Beyond this limit, the Payment Method Label setting will no longer be visible during configuration.

By default we display a title to the buyer when they choose their payment method.

To change this title:

  1. Sign into the Shopify Back Office.
  2. Click on the Settings menu at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Click on the Payment methods menu.
  4. Search for the payment module, then click the Manage button.
  5. Click Other actions then select Manage.
  6. Change the Label of the payment method.
    This label is customizable for each language by selecting a different language on the right side.
  7. Once you have completed the configuration, click Save.
