Reason for release and exemptions

If you have deactivated holder authentication (,status , set to ,DISABLED ,) or when an exemption to strong authentication is applied (,authenticationType , set to ,FRICTIONLESS ,), specify the reason or the exemption concerned in the field exemption.

The Web Service will return an INT_919 error if the exemption is not provided.

Field values exemption, :

value Description
ACQUIRER_TRA Risk analysis performed by the acquirer.
AUTOMATIC_PAYMENT_MACHINES Payment terminals.
CORPORATE Payment by corporate card (only for transportation costs or booking via an online travel agency).
DELEGATED_SCA Strong authentication delegated to a third party.
FIXED_RECURRING_PAYMENT Recurring payments with a fixed term.
ISSUER_TRA Risk analysis performed by the issuer.
LOW_RISK_MERCHANT The merchant participates in CB's Low Risk Merchant program.
LOW_VALUE Low value transaction.
OTHER_EXEMPTION Other exemption cases.
OUT_OF_SCOPE Transaction not concerned by the SCA.
TECHNICAL_ERROR A technical error prevents cardholder authentication.
TRUSTED_BENEFICIARY Trusted beneficiaries.
