About this procedural document

This procedural document defines the operating and settlement guidelines applicable for cross borderUnified Payments Interface merchant payments. The participating members must follow the standard procedures to ensure smooth, secure and effective operation of the network.

This document will be applicable for the International Network Partners and members participating in theUPI. All the participating members must comply with the rules, regulations and procedures mentioned in theUPI Operating regulations and circulars issued from time to time.

In the event of any conflict between the UPI International Operating Regulations and any applicabledomestic laws or regulations, the requirements of such domestic law or regulation will preside over theInternationalOperating Regulations.
