WhatsApp payment links

The service allows you to create a message containing the payment link.

The payment gateway sends it to the buyer by WhatsApp.

You can use the WhatsApp chatbot to create your payment orders.

Payment process

  1. Via your Expert Back Office, create a WhatsApp payment link.

  2. The buyer receives a WhatsApp message from the payment gateway containing a payment link.
    Since the payment gateway is certified by WhatsApp, its phone number appears as already known to the merchant and the buyers.

  3. The buyer clicks on the link and WhatsApp displays the payment page in the default browser.

  4. The buyer makes their payment.

  5. The payment gateway notifies you about the payment result. If you have configured the corresponding notification rule, the buyer receives a payment receipt.

Tracking of WhatsApp payment links

The Delivery status determines whether the link has been correctly delivered to its recipient.

Possible values:

  • In progress
  • Read
  • Delivered
  • Failed

The gateway automatically updates the delivery status if you have enabled read receipts in WhatsApp.
